Bricks 4 Kidz® is devoted to providing an extraordinary atmosphere for children, where they learn, they build, and they play with LEGO® Bricks. Classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of S.T.E.M. (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education, built around our proprietary model plans, inspired by engineers and architects. Mental Health 101 focuses on common mental health diagnoses such as depression and anxiety; how to have supportive conversations with others about mental health; and the importance of reducing stigma.

    Refined Inner Being LLC, a stigma free movement that empowers individuals, families, schools and organizations to cultivate self-acceptance, courage and responsibility around wellness. Alex, has been serving in her purpose as a Mental Health Crusader and will not stop. She is committed to ending stigma attached to mental health matters.  In partnership with individuals, non-profit organizations, and NYC Public Schools, Alex Tatis facilitates nationwide workshops and podcast segments that create safe spaces, empowerment and raises awareness for young people and adults around Mental Health distress, Social Emotional Learning, Mindfulness, Yoga and so much more. 

     

    Alex, believes that when you choose to reclaim your wholeness; your mind, body and spirit will transform within harmony.  And Yoga is that at experience, along with community.

    Workshop #8 - The T.H.E.O. Project:  We Slay: Healthy Minds and Healthy Bodies!

    Teens Helping Each Other: THEO is the peer leadership initiative of The Adolescent Education Program (AEP) at SUNY Downstate. THEO’s mission is to empower youth to achieve and maintain good health, set and achieve academic goals, and serve their community.  Edutainment (teaching without teaching) is a method employing a mix of education, interactive teaching and entertainment to reach youth with potentially lifesaving information. The young people mature into leaders with THEO and leave ready to demonstrate their brilliance to the world.

    Workshop #9 -  The Young Queens Project

    The Young Queens Project (TYQP) offers uplifting educational workshops and tea parties to young girls from ages 5 & up. Self-esteem, self-awareness and etiquette skills are implemented through interactive workshops and parties. TYQP services its community, schools, shelters and non-profits. The Young Queens Project’s mission is to instill and teach young girls positive ways to think, look and believe in themselves.
