Workshop #1 - Bricks For Kids
Bricks 4 Kidz® is devoted to providing an extraordinary atmosphere for children, where they learn, they build, and they play with LEGO® Bricks. Classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of S.T.E.M. (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education, built around our proprietary model plans, inspired by engineers and architects. At Bricks 4 Kidz, they believe that kids learn best through activities that engage their curiosity and creativity.
Workshop #2 - Complete Girlz, Inc.
Complete Girlz's mission is to empower and strengthen young women in our community by giving them the tools needed to overcome adversity through educational and enrichment programs which promote leadership, confidence and self-worth.
Complete Girlz's activities and services range from coaching youth through young adults to fully functioning in their identity. They bridge the gaps between them and their families with strategies that restore the cultural dysfunctions. Some of their programs target healing and restoring the hearts from past trauma to move forward in success. Such product topics revolve around health and wellness, entrepreneurship, personal development and so much more.
Workshop #3 - FleekFit - "Get Fleek With Us"
Dance is life and Music is universal. The power of expressing our joy, love, and even disappointment is seen in our movement. FleekFit takes this concept to create a universal message that exercise should be fun and flow with the rhythms of life. Regardless of your fitness level or experience, you too can be FleekFit. Explore the ways to help your body tell the story. There is life in your words, healing in your truth, and magic in the ways your hips sway from side to side. Workshop #4 - Hey There Beautiful
Hey There Beautiful Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-for-profit empowering woman and young girls to achieve their life goals through education, motivation, self-awareness & self-development.
We give females the confidence they seek in order to achieve success and abundance. Our vision is to provide support, connection, trust, inspiration and leadership skills. Through our workshops, we continually beautify communities while creating personal human connections to support empowering the world. We believe anything you can dream will flourish with hard work and perseverance.
We believe every woman and young girl deserves to feel connection, trust, support, empowerment and love. Every woman and young girl is a magical powerful being that is worthy of the life of her dreams.
Workshop #5 - Mental Health 101 (National Alliance on Mental Illness - NAMI)
Mental Health 101 focuses on common mental health diagnoses such as depression and anxiety; how to have supportive conversations with others about mental health; and the importance of reducing stigma.
Workshop #6 - NPower
NPower is a nonprofit workforce development organization that helps young adults launch careers in technology. Through our free 23-week long Tech Fundamentals program, we offer free IT training, certifications, paid internships, and job placement services.
Workshop #7 - Refined Inner Being with Alex Tatis
Refined Inner Being LLC, a stigma free movement that empowers individuals, families, schools and organizations to cultivate self-acceptance, courage and responsibility around wellness. Alex, has been serving in her purpose as a Mental Health Crusader and will not stop. She is committed to ending stigma attached to mental health matters. In partnership with individuals, non-profit organizations, and NYC Public Schools, Alex Tatis facilitates nationwide workshops and podcast segments that create safe spaces, empowerment and raises awareness for young people and adults around Mental Health distress, Social Emotional Learning, Mindfulness, Yoga and so much more.
Alex, believes that when you choose to reclaim your wholeness; your mind, body and spirit will transform within harmony. And Yoga is that at experience, along with community.
Workshop #8 - The T.H.E.O. Project: We Slay: Healthy Minds and Healthy Bodies!
Teens Helping Each Other: THEO is the peer leadership initiative of The Adolescent Education Program (AEP) at SUNY Downstate. THEO’s mission is to empower youth to achieve and maintain good health, set and achieve academic goals, and serve their community. Edutainment (teaching without teaching) is a method employing a mix of education, interactive teaching and entertainment to reach youth with potentially lifesaving information. The young people mature into leaders with THEO and leave ready to demonstrate their brilliance to the world.
Workshop #9 - The Young Queens Project
The Young Queens Project (TYQP) offers uplifting educational workshops and tea parties to young girls from ages 5 & up. Self-esteem, self-awareness and etiquette skills are implemented through interactive workshops and parties. TYQP services its community, schools, shelters and non-profits. The Young Queens Project’s mission is to instill and teach young girls positive ways to think, look and believe in themselves.
