In celebration of the “United Nations International Day of the Girl Child”, we are excited to host the 2nd Annual

WE LEAD: Empowering Our Girls Conference at the Nelson Mandela School of Social Justice, Brooklyn, NY on Saturday, October 12, 2019.  We request your support as a sponsor for this special event. This is a chance to give back to the community and to expose young ladies to opportunities which can positively enhance their lives.

Our WE LEAD: Empowering Our Girls Conference will be a full day event with an audience of about 300 people (students, corporate/community leaders, mentors and local officials).  MMSI's goal is to engage the entire family and young girls’ mentoring organizations in an effort to make a difference in today’s youth by providing awareness.  There will be inspirational speakers discussing the needs and challenges girls face, while promoting girls’ empowerment and the fulfillment of their human rights. There will also be entertainment, raffles and food. The day will culminate with the “Gems Among Us” awards presentation, honoring outstanding individuals and organizations for their commitment to uplifting and empowering our girls.

We hope we can count on your support as a sponsor for this community event!  We are seeking financial support from businesses and individuals in our community to ensure the success of our non-profit, volunteer event. As you are aware there are many costs associated with a conference of this magnitude which include: venue overhead costs, hospitality, printing, design, video and production costs.  Financial contributions are greatly appreciated. Some businesses can also select to donate premier event tickets or in-kind event items (i.e. t-shirts, conference program, notebooks, etc.).
